Our Promise to You
At Noble Shih Tzu, we believe that placing a puppy is a lifelong partnership — not a transaction. Every puppy leaves our home with a written health guarantee, a signed purchase agreement, and our ongoing support as you raise your new companion.
Please read the following carefully. By completing your purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below. We are always happy to answer questions before you commit.
Health Guarantee
Genetic Conditions
All puppies are guaranteed against life-altering hereditary or congenital defects for two (2) years from the date of birth. If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a covered genetic condition within this period, we will offer a replacement puppy of equal value or a partial refund at our discretion.
Veterinary Examination
Your puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 15 business days of pickup or delivery. Failure to do so voids the health guarantee. Please retain all veterinary records.
Vaccinations & Deworming
Each puppy leaves current on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming as documented in the health record provided at pickup. We recommend continuing the vaccination schedule with your vet.
What Is Not Covered
The health guarantee does not cover conditions resulting from neglect, accidents, improper care, failure to vaccinate, parasites acquired after leaving our care, minor hernias or tight nostrils, hypoglycemia (common in small breeds), or conditions unrelated to genetics (e.g., Parvovirus, kennel cough, injuries).
Purchase Agreement Terms
Deposit & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to reserve a puppy from a current or upcoming litter. The remaining balance is due in full at least one week prior to pickup or transport. We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and Paypal. Personal checks are not accepted.
Spay / Neuter Agreement
Pet-placement puppies are sold on a limited AKC registration and must be spayed or neutered by 12 months of age. Proof of the procedure must be provided to Noble Shih Tzu within 30 days of completion. Breeding rights are available for select puppies to approved breeding programs at an additional fee and are granted only in writing. Full AKC registration is offered at the discretion of Noble Shih Tzu.
Return Policy
Noble Shih Tzu will always accept a puppy back regardless of age or circumstance — we never want our dogs to end up in a shelter or in a less than ideal living situation. If you can no longer care for your puppy, please contact us first. Refunds are not provided for returned puppies, but we will work to rehome the dog responsibly or take them back ourselves for any reason, at any age.
Care Requirements
The buyer agrees to provide proper veterinary care (including but not limited to exams, vaccines, and preventatives like flea, tick, and heartworm), a safe and loving home environment, appropriate nutrition, and regular grooming. Shih Tzus require routine coat maintenance; buyers are encouraged to establish a grooming schedule within the first few months.
Shipping & Travel
We offer ground transport within Oklahoma and surrounding states, and nanny/flight delivery for approved buyers. All travel fees are the responsibility of the buyer. We do not fly puppies as cargo. Puppies must be at least 8 weeks old and cleared by a vet before travel.
